Can you see it? Can you smell it? Can you feel it? The dawn of spring approaches ever quickly. Soon the flowers will bloom, and the sun will shine brighter than before. This is the season where that which was wilted springs forth with new life.

We all experience lack and regression. Some deal with it longer than others. We find ourselves in this cold season for some time. Then the day will come when you will have a breakthrough and spring forth into a new season. Until then it is imperative that you strive to do two things in these lonely uncomfortable cold seasons. You must stockpile and redirect.

Stockpile

When times of lack and regression arise it goes without saying how difficult it can be. Feeling defeated and drained can take its toll on our self-confidence, and in the long run affect our focus and drive. A lot of us lose the will to do…anything. I need you to know that you are not alone in this. In my personal experience it has benefitted me tremendously to focus on stockpiling.

Keep in mind I know this is no easy feat and to most it may seem impossible depending on the situation. However, I want to encourage you to push, you owe it to yourself to push for a better tomorrow. Now what do I mean by stockpiling? I mean gather what you can whether that be knowledge and wisdom, hope and faith, or new experience and ability. You want to spend time doing what you can to collect assets that may assist you on the other side of the lack.

They say the night is darkest just before the dawn. Which means that things will get worse before they get better. However, they will get better! The more you accumulate in the darkness; the more you have to show or give when the sun rises.

Redirect

A common side effect of experiencing lack and regression is a hung down head. The weight of your struggles forces your gaze downwards. Now as people we are already overly critical of ourselves. A hung down head leads to a couple different things. Overly critical judgement and missed opportunities.

As you constantly look down at the path you walk you become more inclined to critic not just the path you walk but the way you walk this path as well. How you walk in the metaphorical sense, speaks a lot to your state of being. I want to encourage you to take a moment to redirect your focus, not to how you are moving forward, but at the fact that you are MOVING! That in and of itself is a huge step.

A very sad thing about a hung down head is that you have no clue about what is going on around you. A lot of the time when we experience lack and regression, we lose sight of the world around us. With your eyes so low it’s impossible to see the way forward. I want to encourage you to look up. You can’t take advantage of opportunity if you don’t see it coming. Redirect your gaze and know there is new opportunity on the horizon.

In Closing…

A beautiful thing approaches fast, your springtime. The time for you to bounce back from lack and regression and bloom into the person you were meant to be for this point in time. Once you spring forth know that your job is not done. You must continue to stockpile what you can, and when you feel it necessary, redirect. Remember, you are a seed planted by the best gardener and he will not let you wilt or die as long as it is he who waters you. Go in good faith and be blessed. You Got This!
