What is your mission?

For what it’s worth I have never really been one to run from a challenge. When I started this blog I knew I was punching above my weight limit but that never deterred me. I knew that I had an uphill battle to fight but that never scared me.

Hopeful by the Water was established with a purpose. My mission is to encourage people to remember or understand that despite the odds they have the power to make it to a better tomorrow.

In a world covered in fear, baked in evil, and served with a side of hopelessness, it goes without saying that having optimism seems to be the vast minority. My goal is to reach as many people as I possibly can and help them stand in their own confidence.

To the battered and bruised, life may have landed a hard blow but you have a resilience like no other. To the manipulated and used, your true value is a commodity no one can take away. To the sad and lonely, grief is temporary and you too will smile again. And to those that may feel like giving up, don’t…we need you. You are special and deserve to walk in the comfort of your unique beauty.

My mission is a battle that seems fleeting but worth fighting. The overwhelming cloud of negativity needs to be balanced out with as much positivity as possible.

I may just be one drop, but I can create a wave of change!
