In life we are poised to go through one thing after the other. A lot of times these situations see us get to a place where we are having to adjust for one reason or another. These adjustments are often pivotal, sometimes monumental yet they go unnoticed by the common eye. Overshadowed by outwardly factors these adjustments seem as though they don’t exist. 

Truth is, not only do they exist, but they are also actually what helps us get from one level to another. The work you do that no one can see eventually produces fruit that many can consume. It’s no exaggeration to say that sometimes these adjustments are covered even to our own eyes. Blinded by the light of what was or what is sometimes keeps us in the dark to our own elevation. 

Take a minute and stop, truly look at yourself. Examine the whole picture and learn what mysteries lie beneath the surface. Once you’ve verified that which is covered prioritize it and soon, you’ll be able to walk in it. Look beyond what you see to get beyond where you thought you could go. 

Prioritize

Change in essence is a showman, a camera-ready attention junkie that feeds off of the attention of others. The problem with change is that like everything else it comes in multiple forms. Most times change happens on the surface level. It is here where it is on display for all to see. 

However more prominent change happens beneath the surface. With this being often overlooked I want to encourage you to prioritize this form of change. Where you go from here is not so much influenced by what you look like but rather what you’re made of. Things like your mental health and outlook on things, your emotional state and response to things. As well as your spirit and how well you’re holding on. 

Make it a point to nurture these unseen factors as they are more valuable than you may realize. In the case of your mental health feed your mind positive rational thoughts that help you see the light even in dark places. To your emotions, experience them however do not become a slave to them. Basically, go there but try not to linger. And finally for your spirit, keep your spirits lifted by stimulating hope through self-care and positive reinforcement. 

This latest leg of my journey has been defined by how effective I was at prioritizing my own internal affairs. With the outward signs pointing to a man reaching his breaking point. The covered reality tells the story of a man poised for growth and optimistic at where his unseen work will take him.

Walk in It

Chances are that there won’t always be a trophy for the race no one knew you were running. You have to acquire a different prize, one that can’t break or be taken away.  The work you did was difficult and lonely, yet you made it through. Walk in that feeling of prosperity and peace. 

Let that which was done in the dark come into the light. Walk in the notion that you are now more equipped to handle the road ahead regardless of what comes before you. Walk in the notion that if you did it once you can absolutely do it again. Walk in the notion that as you are now you can help so many others. 

Walking in your victory not only puts your strength on display but also your appreciation for the quiet suffering as it has produced a loud change. Be sure to keep in mind how you weathered the silent storm as you never know when you may face one again. This time however you can sit with confidence knowing that even if it’s different you can adjust accordingly. 

For the struggles I had to overcome to see how I can and have helped others is my confirmation of victory. I walk in the prosperity of my healing as it has made me a better person and given me a deeper insight into life. Insight by which to use on my own journey but also that I can pass along to others to use on their journey as well. 

In Closing

Just because others can’t see the work doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. A lot of prominent change happens where no one can see. Verify your growth by doing two things. First you have to prioritize it meaning stoke the flames by being purposefully attentive to your needs. Then you walk in it meaning bring it to the light by embodying the very change that has taken place. Remember, sometimes our greatest victories go unnoticed for they were never meant to be spectacles but rather steppingstones. Go forward and be blessed. You Got This!!!
